Background
Dr. Stephanie Fosback completed her general internal medicine training at the University of Washington in June 2009 and joined Palouse Medical/Pullman Regional Hospital shortly afterward. She loves practicing in Pullman where she can care for this wonderful patient population in a comprehensive and complete way. Dr. Fosback is also proud to be a part of behavioral health integrative care working with Dr. Leslie Robison PhD to help patients live better. She and Dr. Robison initiated this practice together in 2015 and are proud of the positive impact it has had on patient care.
Since completing residency in 2009, Stephanie has been dedicated to teaching medical students through the University of Washington. She is proud to be a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington.
Stephanie Fosback has been repeatedly recognized for her dedication to her patients and for teaching medical students throughout her career. In medical school, she was awarded the Steven L. Rudnick Award in recognition of the support she provided her peers and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. During her residency at the University of Washington, her dedication to her patients earned her the Tina Juul-Dam Primary Care Award in 2009. In recognition for her excellence in teaching she was recognized with the WWAMI Distinguished Teacher Award in 2013. In 2015 she received the Washington State ACP Golden Apple Teaching Award. In 2017 she was awarded the Washington Chapter ACP Internist of the Year Award, as well as the Richard M Tucker WWAMI Faculty Excellence in Teaching Lifetime Award. She was the youngest person ever to receive this distinguished award from the University of Washington having received four separate teaching awards prior to this. In 2019 she was awarded the “Pullman Regional Hospital Physician Excellence Award”.

As a board-certified internist, Dr. Stephanie Fosback provides primary care at Palouse Medical. She enjoys working on keeping patients healthy and helping patients with chronic illness live better. She loves the broad area of the internal medicine specialty.
Personal Information
Dr. Fosback has lived and worked in Pullman since 2009. She is originally from rural eastern Washington (Colville) and feels blessed to live and work in the wonderful Northwest.
Outside of Work
Dr. Fosback enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys attending community and athletic events, hiking, skiing, jogging and reading.
